Pierce County Prevention Collaborative

The Pierce County Prevention Collaborative (PC2) is a diverse group of committed community partners/stakeholders in Pierce County working on a unified approach to prevent youth marijuana use and abuse. The collaborative requested and received a Youth Marijuana Prevention Education Program (YMPEP) grant from the Washington State Department of Health to strengthen the local capacity of  Pierce County to respond in unison to the multi-level of challenges children and youth face when immersed in an environment of marijuana use. Grant funding will also support and enhance existing regional substance abuse prevention efforts with a special emphasis on priority populations.
